How the Car Scrapping Process Works Once you get in touch with us and provide some basic details about your vehicle, we’ll give you a competitive price and book a convenient scrap car collection  time between 7 am and 4 pm . On the day of collection, our driver will arrive at your address — just make sure you’ve removed all personal belongings from the car beforehand. We’ll complete the V5C logbook  with you and provide the relevant section, which can now be sent to the DVLA
